Meet John Davy, the founder of Floorbox. He’s spent a lifetime working on big construction, events and military projects and has encountered plenty of problems along the way. His experience allows Floorbox to deliver a truly unique service to our customers. 

When Floorbox launched John went on a mission to show consumers how they could use temporary flooring products in their homes and gardens. However, after a while, it became clear that the customers who really needed the Floorbox service were those working in construction, events, military and landscape gardening. From plant hire companies to stately homes, from music festivals to military HQs, our clients need robust and reliable products that will keep their projects running on time and budget. During his years working on sites, there aren’t many obstacles or challenges that John hasn’t seen and dealt with, so he knows what works and what will cost you dearly.

“The truth is that people don’t have time to shop around, they need a one-stop-shop,” explains John. “These guys are under pressure, and I know how that feels – nobody wants a crew of workers and vehicles being kept waiting to access a site. I’ve realised that Floorbox can serve as the wholesaler they need online, so they get all the choice and the advice they need fast.”

We’re excited to announce that Floorbox has recently partnered with Divido to give our customers the chance to buy what they need and pay in instalments.
