A true innovation in trackway design, the AMP panel gives you all the functionality of a heavy-duty system but the portability of track mats - saving your business a small fortune.
Floorbox wanted to stage a revolution in the heavy-duty market, buy creating a hard-working trackway system that can take up to a 12.5-tonne axle weight but can be deployed by a JCB 926 (or similar all-terrain forklift) and then manually laid. So, there’s no need to settle for products that can’t take the loads you need to move, or compromise when it comes to confined space solutions as AMP panels create a level playing field against standard trackway panels.
By renting forklifts and then getting 2 or 4-person teams to lay the AMP panel can reduce the investment costs by £180,000 (the average price for a Hiab truck) and allows you to be agile in the application.
Enhanced connection points
One of the most exciting and useful features is the 10 connection points on each AMP panel - as they boost panel resilience and reduce the risk of damage. The weakest point on any panel is the point it connects to the next one. You might only need the two connection points, but now you know you’ll be covered if the going gets tough.
Better yet, the 10-point connection allows you to create brick weave patterns with the panels, delivering more integrated strength.
On a health and safety note, there are significantly reduced trip hazards thanks to this uniquely connected system. Workers, pedestrians and vehicles will have a smooth surface to walk across thanks to the seamless side join capability.
It also allows you to sidestep obstacles like trees, pylons or posts. You can achieve this by off-setting the panels around them, connecting the panels in differing increments.
If you choose the AMP panel, you’ll be getting two solutions for the price of one - it can also be used as fencing. It’s simple to connect and establish a fence around your chosen area, and there’s no problem if the ground is uneven or there are hills involved. Thanks to the off-set connection design, you can easily create a fence that moves uphill too.
Stand the AMP panel next to other portable track mats, and there’s no competition in load capability.
When you are working in areas like a Premier League football pitches or other sensitive surfaces, you may be working with a low limit kilonewton rating that seems impossible to adhere to. But by cross-laying AMP panels, it suddenly gets a whole lot easier to achieve. All you need to do is lay an unconnected or minimally connected bottom layer of AMP panels and then cross-lay connected panels on top.
The results are incredible - giving you a 4 or 5 times stronger deflected load capability.
Goodbye to Box Panels
We know all too well that standard box panels require the Hiab transport. They have their place, but they can’t be moved manually and are challenging to get into confined spaces. That’s why the AMP panel was designed to be easily portable by forklift and local crew members. If you need to deliver into a space like a shopping mall, exhibition centres, or any other confined space, the AMP panel is the perfect solution. There are some jobs which require you to provide safe passage for pedestrians and light vehicles over a void, the AMP panel’s strength allows you to confidently deploy it in such situations, and it won’t cost a fortune. If you are covering a sensitive site like a marble floor or million-pound pitch, you can also guarantee the surface will be perfectly-protected.
All hail the AMP Panel
If you thought high vehicle costs prohibited your use of heavy duty track mats, think again.
* Heavy duty trackway with track mat portability
* Save thousands by not having to invest in an expensive Hiab. Forks will do!
* Panels can be manually installed by teams of 2 or 4 people.
* Cross lay to achieve an incredible weight-bearing capability
* Each panel has 10 connection points for extra resilience and agility
* Lay in a brick weave design to add integrated strength to the way you connect up over large areas
* Use on the ground as trackway or fencing in a vertical plane. It works both ways!
